WELCOME to the "User Requirement Notation" (URN) Mailing List

URN is the mailing list of the URN Focus Group and of other people
sharing a common interest the development of the URN standard. More
information on URN can be found at http://www.UseCaseMaps.org/urn/

The mailing list is moderated by urn-owner@site.uottawa.ca.

Besides broadcasting messages, the mailing list service also archives
all messages received.  They then become available via anonymous ftp
at ftp://LOTOS.Site.UOttawa.CA/pub/URN/ and on our web server at
http://LOTOS.Site.UOttawa.ca/ftp/pub/URN/

The archived messages are in "mail" format, and may be processed by some
mailer programs (e.g. 'elm -f post_name') for convenient browsing.

This directory contains:

	README		this file
	00-index.txt	a list of the files, including an entry for each
			message stored, replicating the FROM, SUBJECT and
			DATE fields of the message

Requests to [un]subscribe and questions concerning the use of the list
or of the ftp services should be sent to:

		urn-request@site.uottawa.ca

Note that this is the address of the manager of the service; messages sent
to this address will NOT be broadcasted, NOR will they be archived.
