Participants are invited to submit original models of the focused case study, i.e., either models of a single system or a software product line, using one of the identified modeling approaches or their own approach. Furthermore, the approaches of accepted submissions are to be assessed with the help of the assessment form based on provided comparison criteria.
Selection of Modeling Approach
- Workshop participants must select one modeling approach or add their own approach to this list. Send an email to cma2012-submissions at site.uottawa.ca with (a) your selected approach or (b) your own approach including the following description:
- a statement classifying the approach as either aspect-oriented, feature-oriented, object-oriented, subject-oriented, or any other paradigm,
- a statement classifying the approach in terms of its software development phases (e.g., early requirements specification and analysis, high-level and architectural design, low-level design, evolution, run-time, in addition to validation/verification at each of these phases),
- a one-sentence description of what is modeled (i.e., either the single system or the software product line with an exact list of variations), and
- a two-paragraph description of the modeling approach used,
- a link to a website or paper that best describes the modeling approach.
- Your modeling choice will be acknowledged by email.
Submission of Initial Model
- Submissions must be in pdf format via EasyChair and must contain:
- all content required for the selection of the modeling approach,
- a description of how the various views shown in the submitted model relate to each other, and
- the model of the focused case study.
Reviews
All submissions will be reviewed by at least three members of the organizing committee for quality and relevance.
Submission of Workshop Version and Final Version of Accepted Model and Criteria Categorizations
The workshop version and the final version of the accepted model and criteria categorizations will be published in ReMoDD. Access information for ReMoDD and submission instructions including format and content requirements will be made available in the acceptance notification for authors. The criteria categorizations are to be done with the help of the assessment form (for workshop submission; for final submission) and based on provided comparison criteria (for workshop submission; for final submission).
